The Hampton Inn New Smyrna Beach is a AAA three-diamond property located on famous Flagler Avenue so it is very close to shopping, restaurants and nightlife. It is also a short walk from the beach, which is a great bonus when you are on vacation.
The outside of the hotel is very unique. It almost looks like a big beach house, which immediately gets you feeling the beach “vibe.” Many reviews talk about the ease and friendliness of the staff and check-in process. Rooms are basic but very clean with comfortable beds, high-speed internet, and super cold air conditioning. Most rooms do not have a refrigerator or microwave, so plan ahead if you need those items. The main selling point of this Hampton Inn is location, location, location.
That being said, the Hampton Inn NSB does have several nice amenities. They have an outdoor pool tucked behind the building and a fitness room. Guests may enjoy the free hot breakfast each morning that reviews say is quite good. There is also a nice stone courtyard strung with lights to sit outside and relax at. Something quite unique is that there are roosters that roam the property at times, sometimes providing a “farm-like” wake-up call.
One other point to take into consideration is that the Hampton Inn New Smyrna Beach offers protected, gated parking but you do have to pay for it. There is a daily parking charge at the hotel. Some but not all hotels in New Smyrna Beach charge for parking. If that matters to you, definitely do some research. Speaking of cars, Flagler Avenue is an amazing location, but it does get quite busy with traffic. If you will be coming and going from the hotel frequently, that might be something to think about.
